Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
• 60 Semester hours of college credit from an accredited institution or a passing score on the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment required.
• Successful experience in job related area preferred.

Responsabilités

• Adapts classroom activities, assignments and/or materials to support and reinforce classroom objectives.
• Administers classroom assignments, tests, homework, and makeup work to support teachers in the instructional process.
• Assists students individually or in small groups with lessons to reinforce learning concepts and academic goals.
• Assists the teacher with the computer lab operations to ensure lab objectives are met.
• Monitors students in multiple settings and responds to emergencies to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Maintains confidentiality of students and professional information.
• Performs related duties to ensure efficient operation of the work unit.
