Job summary

Fulton County Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional to support teachers in classrooms and learning centers in Atlanta, GA. The role involves assisting with instructional materials, guiding students in small groups, and helping with daily routines.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and must meet GaPSC paraprofessional certification requirements. 0–1 year of experience is acceptable, with strong communication and organizational skills expected to succeed in a dynamic school

Qualifications

Classroom experience or proven ability to work with children preferred.
Must follow written and oral instructions quickly and accurately.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Excellent communication skills with students and adults.
Strong organizational skills and flexibility.
If in Dual Immersion, proficiency in language of instruction.

Responsibilities

Assists the teacher in preparing educational materials.
Works with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
Assists with daily routines: distributing/collecting supplies, attendance, grading quizzes as assigned.
Participates in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
Maintains bulletin boards and learning centers for instruction.
Performs other duties as assigned by administrator.
