ACCEL Schools' Broadway Academy at Willow in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking an Instructional Aide to assist teachers with classroom activities and promote positive student behaviors in academics and extracurriculars.

You will support lessons, help plan activities, assist during school events, perform clerical tasks, and help maintain a positive school climate. The role requires strong communication skills and physical ability to lift 25–40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Background check required (BCI/FBI).
• Ability to lift 25-40 lbs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a school or social services setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups.
• Help plan classroom activities and support parent relations.
• Assist with school activities and events.
• Perform clerical duties (grading papers, making copies).
• Assist the Teacher in the use of classroom technology.
• Maintain cleanliness of the classroom and related areas.
• Uphold the school’s philosophy and mission in all activities.
• Other duties as assigned (field trips, duty times).
