• Some previous experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Discuss assigned teaching area with classroom teacher to coordinate instructional efforts.
• Assist teacher in preparing and developing teaching aids such as bibliographies, charts, and graphs.
• Assist teacher in presenting subject matter using various methods.
• Assist in preparing, administering, and grading examinations.
• Assist in supervising children in study areas, cafeteria, halls, playground, and field trips where applicable.
• Assist students individually or in groups with lesson assignments.
