Job summary

York County Community Action Corp. seeks a Classroom Support Aide to partner with teachers and nutrition staff in Head Start classrooms. You will participate in play, supervise activities, and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming space for young learners.

The role supports a school-year schedule with meals and family-style meals, plus opportunities for growth and professional development. A CDA track may be pursued after hire.

Qualifications

• Have a High School Diploma, GED or HSE equivalent.
• Be open to completing a fully funded CDA course within one year of hire
• Have experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years; special needs (preferred).
• Immunized against MMR and TDaP.
• Must be able to pass a background check, to include DHHS and fingerprinting.

Classroom Support Aide

$2,500 sign-on bonus
