Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. seeks a Classroom Counselor to support students with autism and related disabilities in a May Institute School in Wilmington, MA. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role uses ABA in classroom settings to deliver personalized instruction and life skills.

Responsibilities include implementing schedules, data collection, and collaboration with teachers and families. Bachelor’s degree required; valid driver’s license and classroom experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or related field.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with at least 1 year of licensed driving experience.
• Ability to work primarily in a classroom/school setting.
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement daily classroom schedules and individualized programs under supervision.
• Provide instruction in academics, communication, self-care, and social skills.
• Collect and track data on student progress to support behavior programs.
• Use evidence-based behavior support strategies to manage challenging behaviors.
• Partner with teachers, clinical staff, and families to support individualized treatment plans.
• Assist students with personal care and hygiene as needed.

As a Classroom Counselor at our May Institute School in Wilmington, MA, you'll be an essential part of our mission to support students ages 3-21 with Autism and Developmental and Cognitive Disabilities in achieving their goals and aspirations. You’ll work directly in classroom settings using the proven methods of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). You’ll be providing compassionate care, facilitating personalized instruction and assistance, and engaging in life and academic skill-building activities.

Your Impact

What You Bring
