Job summary

The Bradley School invites applications for a Classroom Behavior Specialist (Per-Diem). Working under the behavioral coordinator and in collaboration with the classroom team, you will assist the special education teacher by implementing behavioral, academic, and social-emotional programming for students.

The position runs 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday (3-5 days/week) with an anticipated start in August.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with Parapro Assessment or 60+ college credit hours.
• Associate degree or higher in Special Education, Psychology or related field preferred.
• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with students or in small groups to assess behavioral and social-emotional needs.
• Identify factors that impede academic progress to help students succeed.
• Stay current on behavior plans for each student.
• Collaborate with the classroom team to implement social-emotional and behavioral programming.
• Assist with progress reports and IEP goals related to behavior and social-emotional learning.
• Attend meetings and conferences as assigned.
