Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking an ISSO/ISSE to own the day-to-day security posture of classified information systems across Irvine and Poway. You will author RMF artifacts, perform continuous monitoring, and work with government officials to obtain and maintain authorization.

Role requires active DoD clearance, RMF experience, and hands-on use of Nessus, ACAS, STIGs, and related tools. This is an on-site position with occasional travel to Poway and Irvine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 5+ years in ISSO/ISSE in a classified environment.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level I/IAT Level 2 (Security+) as a condition of employment.
• Experience applying RMF with ICD-503, JSIG, and NIST SP 800-53/37/171.
• Hands-on with Nessus, ACAS, STIGs, SCAP, and HBSS/ESS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accredited classified systems at Irvine and Poway sites.
• Author RMF artifacts: SSP, SAR, POA&Ms, RMF documentation.
• Perform continuous monitoring and vulnerability remediation.
• Ensure compliance for facilities and secure enclaves.
• Travel between Irvine and Poway as required.
• Lead DoD security inspections and customer security reviews.
