Job summary

Metron is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to own the cybersecurity posture and authorization lifecycle for multiple systems in a classified and unclassified environment. Based in Reston, VA, you’ll work with ISSM, CISO, admins, and government customers to ensure continuous readiness and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a solid RMF foundation, hands-on classified system experience, and a drive to own authorization packages with mentorship from senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with current SSBI or Tier 5 investigation is required.
• hands-on RMF authorization artifacts such as SSPs, SCTMs, POA&Ms, and eMASS records.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Assessment and Authorization lifecycle for assigned systems per RMF, JSIG, NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIG.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, SCTMs, STIG packages, POA&Ms, risk assessments, and eMASS records.
• Evaluate proposed system changes for cybersecurity, compliance, and authorization impact.
