Job summary

Applied Intuition, via its EpiSci unit, seeks an ISSO to own day-to-day security posture for classified systems across Irvine and Poway venues. You will implement RMF guidance, coordinate with the ISSM and government officials, and defend authorization packages from initial requirements through operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in ISSO/ISSE or cybersecurity in a classified environment.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level I/IAT Level 2 (Security+) required.
• Experience applying RMF with ICD-503, JSIG, and NIST SP 800-53/171.
• Hands-on with Nessus, ACAS, STIGs, and SCAP tools.
• Active DoD security clearance (SECRET minimum) and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Own RMF posture across classified systems at Irvine and Poway.
• Author, update, and defend RMF artifacts (SSP, SAR, POA&Ms).
• Conduct continuous monitoring and remediation tracking.
• Coordinate with ISSM, program security, and government assessors.
• Lead inspections and support DoD security reviews across sites.
