Job summary

DEL REY Systems & Technology, Inc. seeks a Classified Document Security Specialist I-II in Port Hueneme, CA. The role provides PERSEC support for SAP/SCI nominations, manages security paperwork, and ensures compliance with applicable DoD manuals.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 6 years of related experience, plus DoD clearance. Proficiency with DISS, JADE, SIMS, and MS Office is expected, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures.
• Adhere to DD Form 254 guidance for classified programs and facilities.
• Serve as focal point for personnel security paperwork and data transfers.
• Maintain liaison with government agencies, contractors and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Classified Document Security Specialist I-II

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $113,000.00 Annually

Duties

• Provide program security and personnel security (PERSEC) support to include but not limited to review and process required documentation in support of the SAP and SCI nomination processes; prepare and administer program indoctrination and debriefings; access, review and submit clearance/access information using DISS and JADE, and other information systems; maintain PERSEC databases in accordance with customer tracking requirements; maintain and operate document control register/database; process and manage incoming and outgoing visit authorizations and visitor control
• Generate and/or review Program Access Request (PAR) packages; ensure all required information is provided, including currency of information, completeness of forms, and inclusion of required signatures. Generate Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA), provide to briefer/debriefer, and/or execute briefs/debriefs on behalf of the government security team
• Familiarization with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals (DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4), Sensitive Compartmented Information Administrative Manuals (DoD Manual 5105.21 Volumes 1-3), Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), IC Technical Specification (IC Tech Spec) for ICD/ICS 705, the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other applicable security regulations and requirements
• Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures
• Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254 and Issue subcontract DD254s
• Serve as the focal point for receiving, processing, distributing personnel security paperwork and a data transfer agent to ingress files and uploading into Government databases
• Maintain liaison and good working relationships with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience
• Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
• Experienced with Microsoft office software products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Self-starter with minimal supervision
• Experience with DoDM 5205.07 Special Access Program Security Manual
• Proficient with SIMS, DISS, JADE and/or other applicable Government Security Databases
• Completed security training (ex. CDSE)
• Basic knowledge of access controls and security systems
• Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in a variety of program areas
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills and organizational skills enabling effective communications and customer service skills
