Qualifications

• Two (2) years’ experience in a correctional, detention, law enforcement, medical or institutional setting, or closely related field, which provided a knowledge of computerized management information system operations and requirements as it relates to managing client and/or patient information.
• Ability to use and update data in a computerized record system.
• Advanced interviewing techniques.
• Knowledge of Maine Criminal Code and Laws.
• Ability to interpret legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Interview incoming residents and gather identification data to prepare records.
• Develop computerized case histories and other reports.
• Assist with or observe the Classification Committee to determine housing and custody levels.
• Input data into the corrections master records system for case histories for multiple agencies.
• Compile data for statistical reports.
