Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor prisoner activity to enforce rules and maintain security.
• Contribute to treatment strategy development and implementation.
• Counsel and advise prisoners on regulations, health, safety, and behavior.
• Respond to emergencies and use appropriate safety and control measures.
• Participate in unit management decisions including transfers and job assignments.
• Instruct and supervise inmates in work skills and on-the-job training for staff.
