Bon Secours Cancer Institute at St. Francis Medical Center in Midlothian, VA is seeking a BE/BC Hematologist to join a growing, patient-centered program serving the Greater Richmond region.

The role offers outpatient and hospital-based responsibilities, a collaborative team, and robust support staff including Nurse Navigators, social workers, and dietitians. Hospital privileges at multiple Bon Secours facilities are available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology.
• Completion of residency and fellowship training.
• Eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical licensure.
• Interest in practice growth, professional development, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hematology care including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of benign hematologic disorders.
• New patient consultations and follow-up care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory studies.
• Coordinate care with primary care physicians and specialty providers.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatment options.
• Participate in inpatient consultations as needed.
• Engage in community outreach and engagement activities.
• Contribute to growth and development of hematology services.
