Job summary

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking a Class Schedule Coordinator in the Office of the Registrar. You will oversee the Catalog Management and Section Scheduling unit, train departmental schedulers, assign classrooms, and address scheduling questions campus-wide.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and at least one year in an education setting with scheduling or academic administration experience. Preferred experience with Ellucian Banner Catalog/Schedule and Ad Astra.

Responsibilities

• Monitor department section creation and advise departments on section set-up.
• Oversee online class schedule production for registration and public records each term.
• Serve as primary contact for scheduling and facility management with departments and instructors.
• Analyze section/course information to ease student registration and billing.
• Assist with term roll, archiving, and exam scheduling processes.
• Provide Banner training to new schedulers as needed.
• Coordinate and distribute workload within the unit.
• Test Banner, Ad Astra, and Course Explorer during upgrades and provide feedback.
