Metro YMCAs in Livingston, NJ, is seeking a part-time Class Experience & Talent Leader to recruit, onboard, and develop group fitness instructors across cycle, yoga, and studio formats. You will observe classes, provide feedback on cueing, energy, and engagement, and help shape an inclusive, high-quality participant experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and studio setups, coordinating schedules and substitutes, and planning events to grow participation and member wellness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading, auditing, or mentoring group fitness instructors.
• Current Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM) or a specialized modality certification (e.g., 200-hour RYT for Yoga).
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Strong customer-service mindset and ability to build an inclusive member community.
