Job summary

Horizon Distributors, Inc., a POOLCORP company, is hiring Delivery Drivers in Fort Worth to perform local, on-time deliveries with a safety-first approach. You9;ll start at 8:00am and work until finish, with benefits and eligible bonuses up to $3,500 per year.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, payment collection, FMCSR compliance, and routine vehicle inspections. A valid license and clean MVR/PSP are required; forklift certification and bilingual ability are a plus.

Qualifications

• A valid driverdrive? license is required and must be able to operate up to a 26000 GVW straight 24t flatbed truck.
• MVR and PSP must show no more than 2 combined violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries using the most efficient route to ensure on-time delivery.
• Load and unload the vehicle and secure products.
• Collect payments and document delivery accurately.
• Maintain compliance with FMCSR and related regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Keep the vehicle clean, maintained, and presentable daily.
• Assist with housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean sales center.
• Grow product knowledge and perform other duties as assigned.

• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.
• Assist with housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe and secure sales center.
• Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A valid driver's license and ability to operate up to a 26000GVW straight 24’ flatbed truck.
• A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items that weigh up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Aptitude to learn ever-evolving computer systems, programs, handheld technology and processes.
• Ability to observe surroundings for information and recognize potential problems.
• Maintains composure in a fast-paced environment focused on serving business owners with urgent needs.
