Job summary

Structural Building Solutions seeks a dependable Class C Driver to safely transport building components to job sites and customers. You will plan routes, inspect equipment, secure loads, and ensure compliance with DOT rules, while maintaining strong communication with clients and team members.

The role blends driving with light on-site work and office routing reviews. Candidates should have a clean driving record, 2–4 years in logistics, and familiarity with ELD workflows.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C license with clean driving record.
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics or related operations (preferred).
• Strong understanding of DOT safety regulations and HOS rules.
• Proficiency with Electronic Driver Logs and related software.
• Ability to read road signs and navigate routes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily routes in collaboration with production planner, prioritizing safety and legality.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Ensure secure load tie-downs using proper safety equipment.
• Verify load weight and distribution to prevent axle overloads.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal transportation laws (MD, NJ, PA, VA, WV).
• Communicate ETA and delivery status with clients and internal teams.
