Job summary

BOX Partners has an immediate need for an experienced Class C CDL driver at our Elgin, Illinois distribution center. The role involves safely transporting products, providing exceptional customer service, and complying with DOT regulations and company policies. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.

Pay starts at $32.00 per hour. Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading/unloading, DOT logs, and accurate delivery documentation.

Qualifications

• CDL Class C license with valid medical card.
• Previous commercial driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous Class C driving experience is required.
• Clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class C commercial vehicle to transport products to customers and distribution locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load, unload, and secure freight as required.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and required DOT logs.
• Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
• Keep vehicles clean and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely enter and exit the truck cab multiple times throughout the workday.
