Job summary

BOX Partners has an immediate need for a Class C CDL Driver at our Elgin, Illinois distribution center, located near I-90 and Randall Road. You will safely transport products while delivering exceptional customer service and staying compliant with DOT regulations and company policies.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm. Starting pay is $32 per hour, with benefits including health, dental, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid holidays and sick days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C CDL required.
• Previous commercial driving experience required.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class C commercial vehicle to transport products to customers and distribution locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load, unload, and secure freight as required.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and required DOT logs.
• Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
• Keep vehicles clean and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for safely transporting products while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely enter and exit the truck cab multiple times throughout the workday.
