U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. in Indio, CA is seeking a reliable Driver to perform local deliveries and support the Central Distribution Center. You will operate a 26-foot box truck, load and unload, and ensure safety and DOT compliance.

This full-time role emphasizes independent work, excellent customer service, and detailed documentation. You will report to the dispatcher and maintain logs, mileage, and vehicle condition.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers and provide excellent service.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and obtain a current DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries safely, professionally, and courteously.
• Pick up material from the Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and daily maintenance; ensure logs and loading are proper.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and complete required paperwork.
• Inform dispatcher of problems or delays during deliveries.
• Document all deliveries including logs and customer signatures.
• Report vehicle defects or accidents to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver to join our team. This position will be located in Indio, CA.

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed.
• Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
• Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck
• Must be strongly independent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card.
• Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service
