U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. in Teterboro, NJ is seeking a diligent Non CDL Driver for local, on-site deliveries and daily vehicle checks. You will ensure safe operations, complete required paperwork, and communicate effectively with dispatchers while maintaining DOT compliance.

The role requires at least 1 year of 26-foot box truck experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
• Strong customer service and driving experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and obtain a current DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance daily; ensure loading and driver logs are completed.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and complete company and DOT paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays during delivery run.
• Complete delivery documentation including logs and customer signatures.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations.
• Inform management of problems or delays during route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver to join our team. This position will be located in Teterboro, NJ.

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed.
• Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
• Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a 26-foot box truck
• Must be strongly independent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card.
• Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service
