Job summary

U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) is seeking a Driver (CDL) to join our team in Landover, MD. This full-time role runs from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM and involves safe deliveries, loading and unloading, and local job-site drops.

You will need at least one year of 26-foot box truck experience, a valid Class-B CDL, a current DOT medical card, and a strong commitment to customer service and DOT compliance. We offer comprehensive benefits and competitive pay ($24–$26 per hour).

USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver (CDL) to join our team. This position will be located in Landover, MD.

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 4AM-1230PM

Key Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed.
• Comply with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
• Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• At least 1 year of experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
• Must be strongly independent.
• Must have a valid Class-B CDL driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card.
• Must meet all DOT requirements, including applicable testing, and maintain a driving record that meets company standards.
• Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience.
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service.
