U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. in Fontana, CA is seeking a motivated Driver to join our team. You will make local deliveries, pick up materials from the Central Distribution Center, and ensure safe, compliant operation of our 26-foot box truck.

You must have a valid driver's license and DOT medical card, plus customer service experience and the ability to work independently. We offer full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including loading and drivers logs.
• Complying with all D.O.T. regulations and completing required paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including logs and signatures.
• Report vehicle defects or damages to management.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver to join our team. This position will be located in Fontana, CA.

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed.
• Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
• Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck
• Must be strongly independent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card.
• Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service
