Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet is seeking a Driver II (Class B) to deliver perishable products to customers in the Bensenville area. You will be the main contact for customers, ensuring safe handling of seafood, beef, poultry, and gourmet products, while upholding HACCP standards.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, route delivery, and accurate documentation. A valid Class B license and basic English are required; long shifts and Saturdays are expected.

Qualifications

• Education – High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience – 2-3 years of commercial driving experience; temperature-controlled transport experience preferred.
• Licensing – Must have a valid Class B License.
• Environmental – Able to work long shifts and Saturdays.
• Language – Basic English-speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload products per route, ensuring items are received with proper signatures.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and vehicle safety checks.
• Drive safely and secure the vehicle during drop-offs.
• Load and unload products using appropriate equipment.
• Ensure temperature-controlled vehicles maintain required temperatures.
• Follow DOT and HACCP regulations during operation and handling of product.
• Maintain professional customer service and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist with payments and proper documentation as needed.
