Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet seeks a dependable Delivery Driver to transport fresh and frozen products to restaurants, retailers, and customers in the Bloomington-Normal area. You will act as the primary customer contact, ensuring product integrity and exemplary service during safe, on-time deliveries.

You will load/unload products, follow HACCP/DOT regulations, and maintain temperature controls while upholding high safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of commercial driving experience; temperature-controlled transport experience preferred.
• Friendly, outgoing customer service demeanor.
• Sense of urgency to meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Available for long shifts and Saturdays.
• Basic English-speaking proficiency.
• A combination of the above will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip responsibilities to check route numbers and account numbers.
• Perform vehicle safety inspections.
• Drive and deliver orders per route; secure vehicle during drop-offs.
• Load and unload products using a dolly or other devices safely.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures.
• Contact management to discuss issues as they arise.
• Complete post-delivery actions, returns, and necessary paperwork.
• Follow DOT and HACCP regulations during operation and handling.
• Monitor temperature-controlled vehicle to maintain required limits.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and report complaints to supervisor.
• Collect payments and record transactions securely.
• Ensure safety training is current per company policy.
• Support Fleet Manager with vehicle maintenance records.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
