Job summary

Yarde Metals is seeking a Class B Driver to join its Fleet & Operations Team in Pelham, NH. The driver will safely operate a commercial truck to transport and deliver material to customers.

The role requires a current Class B license, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass background checks and screenings. Overtime may be required, and the location is on-site at 1 Yarde Drive, Pelham, NH.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Valid, current Class B driver's license and medical card.
• Clean MVR.
• Must be able to operate an automatic transmission.
• Six months minimum experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, physical, and meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle.
• Load and unload material.
• Secure loads and assure they are within weight limits.
• Verify material condition and quantities during loading/unloading.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs.
• Report overages, shortages, and damaged material.
• Assist with loading/unloading at delivery and pickup points.
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisor or group leader.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Job Summary

• Assist with loading and unloading material at points of delivery and pickup
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisor or group leader.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
