Staffmark is seeking a Class B Driver for local Carson, CA work. The role involves transporting goods on a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 7am, with a focus on safety, punctual deliveries, and professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Class B CDL delivery driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Experience operating box trucks or straight trucks in local delivery environments.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and customer service expectations.
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused with excellent attendance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel.
• Clean driving record with no more than a combined total of 2 moving violations and/or preventable accidents within the past 36 months.
• No DUI or reckless driving convictions within the past 5 years.

Responsabilités

• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
• Provide professional customer service at delivery and pickup locations.
• Handle primarily no-touch freight, with occasional assistance required for loading or unloading.

Driver Requirements

• Must be 22 years of age or older.
• Valid Class B CDL Driver License.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to work a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with overtime as needed.
• Comfortable performing local deliveries and pickups throughout the surrounding area.
• Ability to occasionally assist with freight handling when required.

What You Will Do

As a Class B Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.

• Safely load, transport, and deliver shipments according to assigned routes and schedules.

• Provide professional, reliable service at customer locations.
