Qualifications

Responsibilities

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Class B CDL delivery driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Experience operating box trucks or straight trucks in local delivery environments.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and customer service expectations.
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused with excellent attendance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel.
• Clean driving record with no more than a combined total of 2 moving violations and/or preventable accidents within the past 36 months.
• No DUI or reckless driving convictions within the past 5 years.

Driver Requirements

• Must be 22 years of age or older.
• Valid Class B CDL Driver License.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to work a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with overtime as needed.
• Comfortable performing local deliveries and pickups throughout the surrounding area.
• Ability to occasionally assist with freight handling when required.

Job Duties

• Operate a Class B commercial vehicle, including box trucks and straight trucks.
• Perform local pickups and deliveries between warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations.
• Transport freight safely and efficiently while following assigned routes and schedules.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, inspection reports, and required paperwork.
• Communicate delivery updates, route changes, and potential delays with dispatch.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
• Provide professional customer service at delivery and pickup locations.
• Handle primarily no-touch freight, with occasional assistance required for loading or unloading.
