Job description

Our company is seeking a reliable and experienced Class B Driver to join our team. As a Class B Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate a Class B vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
2. Transport goods and materials to various locations
3. Load and unload cargo as needed
4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
5. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
6. Provide exceptional customer service
7. Promptly and professionally communicate with team members (Dispatch, Office, Warehouse)
8. Follow all traffic laws and regulations
9. Comply in accordance with FMCSA regulations
10. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members

Requirements:

1. Valid Class B driver's license
2. Clean driving record
3. 1 year CDL experience preferred
4. TWIC required for port access
5. Ability to operate a manual transmission
6. Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
7. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
8. Excellent communication and customer service skills
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
10. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
