Job summary

Clean Harbors in Dolton, IL is seeking a Class B CDL Route Driver to operate light and heavy trucks at customer sites, including Vacuum Trailer, roll-off trailers, van trailers, box trucks and high-powered vacuum loaders. You will perform driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

Monday - Friday, home daily with starts between 6-7 am; overtime after 40 hrs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical as required.
• Must meet OSHA respiratory protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Operate a variety of Class B trucks.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets and reports.
• Comply with DOT and company safety/regulatory requirements.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Site remediation and handling of hazardous materials as assigned.
