Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Davenport, IA is seeking a Class B CDL Route Driver (Sales and Service Route Driver). This role will train to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services in a defined route.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, home daily, with average start between 6-7 am and overtime after 40 hours—paid biweekly.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical duties per job requirements.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and medical examination.
• As per OSHA Respiratory Protection standard, facial hair rules apply for respirator positions.

Responsibilities

• Visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Serve automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing customers.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Follow all local, state/provincial and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT and other regulations.
• Follow environmental health and safety guidelines.
