Job summary

Clean Harbors in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Class B CDL / Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs, with responsibilities for driving and non-driving duties on and off-site for hazardous waste cleanup.

A two-week out-of-state Academy training is required and paid by the company. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday starting around 6 am, with 8-10+ hour days and overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required or ability to obtain with trucking experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to operate a range of heavy and light trucks and equipment.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and physical examination.
• Must be able to work long hours, be available for emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks including Class A vehicles.
• Load and unload cargo; assist field laborers.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Travel for emergency response and out-of-town projects as needed (up to 2 weeks).
• Adhere to safety policies and site procedures.
