Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Clinton Charter Township, MI is seeking a delivery driver to transport materials to customer sites. You may load, secure, and unload goods, ensuring on-time deliveries and accurate invoicing. You will act as the customer liaison, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and complete safety procedures.

The position requires a Class B CDL, valid license and MVR check, and 1 year of delivery driving experience. Strong English reading/speaking skills and basic math are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver's license and Class B CDL.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; pass MVR report; DOT medical card within 5 days of request.
• Basic math and measurement skills; ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified sites and assist with unloading.
• Maneuver vehicles and ensure proper loading/unloading and security of goods.
• Maintain logs of deliveries (miles, items, locations) and verify against invoices.
• Provide customer service and resolve issues on site.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and comply with DVIR and HOS requirements.
• Operate forklift or non-motorized handling equipment as needed.
