Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a delivery driver to transport and deliver materials to customer sites. You will load and unload, verify orders, and maintain accurate delivery logs while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL, 1+ year of delivery experience, and the ability to read English and perform basic math. You will operate delivery vehicles in a production environment and support safety program adherence.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid Class B CDL license.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred.
• Must pass MVR and obtain a DOT medical card within 5 days of request.
• Ability to read and speak English; basic math/measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to designated sites and maneuver vehicles safely.
• Assist with loading/unloading and securing products as needed.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, mileage, and weights; verify against invoices.
• Serve as a customer service liaison and resolve issues as they arise.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and safety checks on vehicles.
• Operate forklifts or material handling equipment when required.
• Adhere to DVIR and HOS using handheld devices; follow safety procedures.
