Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a CDL driver to transport and deliver building materials to customer sites. You will operate vehicles over 26,000 pounds, assist with loading, and ensure on-time, undamaged deliveries while maintaining safety standards.

Role requires a Class B CDL, valid license, and clean MVR, with 1+ year of delivery driving preferred. Strong customer service, English proficiency, and reliable attendance are essential. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL license and clean MVR.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Excellent time management and route planning.
• Strong customer service and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified sites and park in loading/unloading positions.
• Assist with loading/unloading, securing products and preventing damage during transit.
• Maintain delivery logs incl. weights, miles, and locations; verify against invoices.
• Serve as a customer service liaison and resolve issues as they arise.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and perform pre/post trip safety checks.
• Operate a forklift or manual handling equipment as required.
• Follow DVIR and HOS requirements and take safety meetings seriously.
• Other duties as assigned.
