Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a CDL-B delivery driver to transport materials to customer sites and assist with loading/unloading. You will maintain delivery logs, operate material handling equipment, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Strong customer service and English proficiency are required while driving a large vehicle weighing over 26,000 pounds. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, valid license, and DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Class B CDL and valid driver’s license are mandatory.
• Pass MVR review and obtain a DOT medical card quickly.
• Ability to read and speak English; basic math skills needed.
• 1 year of delivery driving experience preferred; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer orders to specified sites and assists with loading/unloading.
• Operates forklift or material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintains logs of deliveries and vehicle safety checks.
• Acts as a customer service liaison and handles concerns.
• Completes pre/post trip inspections and adheres to DVIR/HOS rules.
