American Welding & Gas is seeking a Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Sulphur, LA. The role requires HazMat and Airbrake endorsements or the ability to obtain them, with duties including safe cylinder handling and paperwork accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements (or ability to obtain).
• Clean driving record.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move and lift heavy cylinders (50–75 lbs; 100+ lbs with cylinders).
• Pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, background check and road test.
• Ability to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow all SOPs.
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations.
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Ensures paperwork (shipping papers and delivery tickets) is accurate.
• Maintains cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

American Welding & Gas Inc, has an immediate opening for a Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Sulphur, LA. This position requires a Class B CDL with HazMat & Airbrake endorsements.

Duties:

• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements
• Clean driving record
• Able to read and write English
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Ground Assessment and company administered road test
• Ability to communicate with customers.
