Job summary

Blackstone Law in Beverly Hills seeks an experienced Class Action Attorney for the plaintiff’s side employment litigation team. You will manage a high volume of class actions and PAGA wage-and-hour matters, with occasional crossover into discrimination and wrongful termination matters.

The role offers autonomy within a collaborative environment, working closely with the team lead to strategize and obtain favorable results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in class action litigation.
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Offices are located in Beverly Hills; in-office, hybrid or work from home for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Litigate a high volume of class action and PAGA wage-and-hour cases.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and class certification briefing.
• Conduct advanced legal research and prepare high-quality written advocacy.
• Collaborate with the team lead and litigation colleagues on case strategy.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and corporate representatives.
• Prepare for and participate in mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Analyze employment records relevant to class and PAGA claims.
• Maintain relationships with clients, class representatives, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
