Job summary

Premium Transport Staffing Inc. is seeking an experienced Class A Yard Hostler for a high-volume Fontana yard. You will safely move trailers, shuttle drivers, and coordinate with warehouse teams in a fast-paced, safety-minded environment.

Schedules are 12-hour shifts with overtime after 8 hours. Local work, weekly pay, and benefits after 60 days. Requires valid Class A license and 12+ months hostler experience within the last 3 years.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A license required.
• 12+ months yard goat/hostler experience required.
• Experience verifiable within last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers safely within yard and to/from dock doors.
• Shuttle drivers between yards within 3 mile radius.
• Maintain communication with warehouse and dispatch teams.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Keep yard organized and safe.

Class A Yard Hostler – Busy Yard

Location: Fontana, CA

Pay: Class A $24/hr;

Schedules Available: 12 hour shifts, overtime paid after 8

• Sunday-Tuesday other Wednesday: 05:00 to 17:00
• Sunday-Tuesday other Wednesday: 17:00 to 05:00
• Thursday-Saturday other Wednesday: 05:00 to 17:00
• Thursday-Saturday other Wednesday: 17:00 to 05:00

We are currently hiring experienced Class A Yard Hostlers for a high-volume yard operation in Fontana. This is a fast-paced role ideal for safety-minded drivers with proven yard hostler experience.

Important Requirements (No Exceptions):

• Valid Class A license
• Experienced Required: 12+ months of yard goat/hostler experience
• All experience must be verifiable within the last 3 years. NO EXCEPTIONS

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely move trailers within the yard and to/from dock doors
• Shuttle Drivers within 3 Mile Radius between yards
• Maintain constant communication with warehouse and dispatch teams
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
• Keep yard organized for smooth operation
• Follow all yard and safety protocols
