Job summary

Daniels Health in Easton, PA seeks a reliable Yard Jockey (Class A) to move and position trailers, load/unload, and work safely in a healthcare-focused facility. You will operate yard trucks and 26’–53’ tractors, perform inspections, and maintain an organized yard.

Qualifications include a Class A license with a clean record, a valid DOT medical card, 3+ years of experience, touch freight exposure, and DOT logging/compliance knowledge. Preference for longevity and reliability.

Qualifications

• Class A license with a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 ft trucks and trailers up to 53 ft.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Touch freight experience and a strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers and equipment throughout the yard using a yard truck.
• Position trailers accurately for loading and unloading.
• Load and unload trailers in support of warehouse operations.
• Perform daily safety inspections on yard trucks and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard.
• Communicate with yard and warehouse teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Safely operate straight trucks and tractor trailers (26’–53’).
• Heavy lifting required.

We are seeking a reliable, hands‑on Class A Yard Jockey with a Class A license and experienced with maneuvering large trucks across the Easton, PA Plant as well as loading and unloading trailers and trucks!

What will your job involve?

• Moving trailers and equipment throughout the yard using a yard truck
• Position trailers accurately for efficient loading and unloading
• Load and unload trailers in support of warehouse operations
• Perform daily safety inspections on yard trucks and equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard

What are we looking for?

• Class A license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot trucks and trailers up to 53 foot
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
