Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking an enthusiastic driver with a Class B license, HazMat, and 3+ years of experience operating a 26 ft box truck for routes across NYC, NJ, DE and PA. You will collect sharps and medical waste from healthcare locations and provide excellent customer service.

The role offers a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 5AM to 3PM), a $30.00 per hour base, potential overtime, and a $3,000 new hire bonus after probation. Located in Easton, PA with frequent DOT compliance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Class B license with a valid DOT medical card and HazMat requirements.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating a 26 ft box truck.
• FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.

Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/DE/PA.
• Operate a 26 ft box truck safely.
• Collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build relationships.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and communicate changes.
• Load and unload and organize cargo per schedule needs.
• Comply with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Push/pull a cart up to 200 lbs.

Daniels Health is offering a $3,000 new hire bonus for joining our amazing team in Easton!

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class B license WITH HAZMAT and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Easton, PA area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve?

• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/DE/PA
• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD AND HAZ
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
