Job summary

Daniels Health in Easton, PA, is hiring a driver with a Class A license to service NYC/NY/NJ/PA routes, collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations, and deliver excellent customer service. This is a full-time role with a 5:00 AM start, 45 hours per week, and a set rate of $32.00 per hour for straight truck operations up to 53 ft.

The position emphasizes DOT compliance, pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and maintaining strong customer relationships while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Class A license with a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53 ft.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations, DOT compliance and logging hours.
• Presents a can-do attitude with strong customer focus and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Drive as part of NYC/NYC-NJ-PA routes on straight truck/53 ft trailer.
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Load/unload and organize truck per schedule; perform DOT logging and inspections.
• Pushing/pulling up to 200 lbs and comply with all safety requirements.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class A license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Easton, PA Plant. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

• NEW YORK CITY DELIVERIES/PICK UPS
• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/PA
• Operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
• Class A license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
