Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a customer-focused driver with a Class A license to service NYC/NJ/PA routes from Easton, PA, collecting sharps and medical waste containers and delivering exceptional customer service daily.

This role operates a straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53 ft, requires a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card, and 3+ years of relevant experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5AM–3PM, about 45 hours weekly, with benefits and a $3,000 new hire bonus.

Qualifications

• Class A license with clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating straight trucks/tractor trailers up to 53 ft.
• Touch freight experience and strong customer service required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver medical waste containers and maintain customer relationships.
• Operate straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53 ft on NYC/NJ/PA routes.
• Load/unload and organize cargo per schedule; adhere to DOT regulations and inspections.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class A license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Easton, PA Plant. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

• NEW YORK CITY DELIVERIES/PICK UPS
• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/PA
• Operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
• Class A license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
