Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Class A Yard Hostler in Commerce, CA. The position requires a valid Class A CDL, a current DOT medical card, and you must be at least 22 years old.

Shifts include 10 AM-6:30 PM (Fri-Tue) or 4 PM-12:30 AM (Sat-Wed) with a pay rate of $27.00 per hour. Responsibilities include operating a yard goat to move trailers, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining safety while handling 20–30+ trailer moves per shift.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Current DOT Medical Card is required.
• Must be at least 22 years old.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a yard goat to move trailers throughout the yard and between locations.
• Switch empty trailers with loaded trailers at dock doors.
• Shuttle trailers between facilities as required.
