Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A End Dump driver in La Porte, TX. The route runs from La Porte, TX to New Martinsville, WV, averaging 2,800 miles per week and about a 4–4.5 day turn. Expect weekly home time and compensation that includes hourly on-duty time plus mileage pay.

Drivers average $80–$105K per year with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Comprehensive benefits, 401K with match, and opportunities for growth are offered as part of a safety‑conscious team.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to effectively use mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the top priority by following safe work practices.
• Picks up waste from customer locations using roll-off and end dumps units.
• Monitors weights and ensures proper utilization of units.
• Loads/unloads hazardous and non-hazardous waste and secures loads properly.
• Puts placards on vehicles per DOT requirements/regulations.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, and vehicle inspection reports.

This route runs from La Porte, TX to New Martinsville, WV and averages 2800 miles per week. This run is approximately a 4-4.5 day turn.

About the role

• Drivers average $80-$105K per year
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available

• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Picks up waste from customer locations utilizing roll-off and/or end dumps units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
