Job summary

American Driver is hiring in the Griffin area for regional driving positions. You will operate 2022+ trucks assigned to you, with an all-automatic transmission, sleeper cab, and a policy allowing a pet and rider from day one. Expect 2,200–2,800 miles weekly on dry-van freight, mostly drop-and-hook.

Training is provided with a paid mentor program of 4–6 weeks; solo pay begins after training completion. Orientation pay and travel are covered.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner, automatic, assigned solely to you
• APU on board, no slip seating
• Pet and rider policy starts day one

The Freight

• Dry van, no-touch, about 70% drop and hook
• 2,200 to 2,800 miles weekly average

What You Earn

• $1,300–$1,550 weekly average, top performers clear $1,800+
• 12 days out, 2 days home each cycle
• $300 orientation pay, plus hotel and travel covered

How Training Works

• New CDL-A holders are welcome
• Paid mentor program runs 4 to 6 weeks, guaranteed pay the whole time
• Solo pay kicks in once you finish training

What We Need From You

• 21 or older, valid Class A CDL, current DOT Medical Card
• Clean driving record
• 6 months recent OTR experience, or 120+ hours from an accredited CDL program
• Able to clear a background check and drug test
