Job summary

American Driver in Brandon, FL is hiring Class A drivers for regional freight east of I-35, with no NYC five-borough deliveries. Expect 12 days out and 2 days home, and a $300 orientation benefit with travel covered.

We offer a paid training program for CDL-A holders, 4–6 weeks with a trainer, then full solo pay after completion. Benefits begin after 30 days, including medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older and valid CDL-A
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Safe driving record
• Pass background check and pre-employment drug test
• 6 months of recent OTR experience or completion of an accredited CDL training program (120+ hours)

Responsibilities

• Regional freight east of I-35 with no NYC deliveries.
• Operate no-touch dry van with roughly 70% drop-and-hook.
• Utilize assigned 2022+ Kenworth or Freightliner tractors with automatic transmission.

Pay and Home Time

• Average weekly pay $1,300-$1,550, top performers $1,800+
• 12 days out, 2 days home
• $300 paid orientation, hotel and transportation covered

Freight and Equipment

• No-touch dry van, roughly 70% drop and hook
• Assigned 2022 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner, automatic, APU equipped
• No slip seating, pet and passenger policy from day one

Paid Training Program

• New CDL-A holders welcome
• 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced trainer, guaranteed weekly training pay
• Full solo pay after successful completion
