Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and acceptable driving record.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Experience with LTL/City driving preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and transportation compliance standards.
• Ability to operate tractor-trailers in varied driving and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers.
• Transport and deliver freight according to routes, schedules, and customer requirements.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Load, secure, inspect, and protect cargo during transit.
• Maintain logs, delivery documents, and inspection reports.
• Communicate with dispatch about routes, delays, and issues.
• Operate at loading docks, yards, and customer locations.
• Report accidents, violations, and equipment defects promptly.
• Maintain a clean, professional vehicle and work area.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
