Job summary

The role requires a valid CDL A, DOT medical certification, and knowledge of DOT regulations. You will work with dispatch, handle loading/unloading when needed, and comply with safety and hours-of-service rules.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and acceptable driving record.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements and transportation compliance.
• Ability to safely operate tractor-trailers and commercial motor vehicles in varied driving and weather conditions.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers.
• Transport and deliver freight according to routes, schedules and customer requirements.
• Perform required pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Properly load, secure, inspect, and protect cargo during transit.
• Follow DOT regulations, hours-of-service, traffic laws and company policies.
